Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that can improve social, communication, and learning skills through positive reinforcement. Many experts consider ABA to be the gold-standard treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental conditions. In simple terms, ABA changes the environment in order to change the behavior. ABA therapy is used to improve behaviors like social skills, reading, academics, and communication as well as learned skills like grooming, hygiene, fine motor dexterity, job proficiency and even simple things like a child keeping his room clean.
The therapy is often utilized to improve a variety of skills and adaptive behaviors. ABA therapy is also effective in reducing challenging behaviors. Treatment helps reduce occurrences of non-compliance, as well as tantrums, bed-wetting, feeding problems, aggression, and self-harm.
We Provide in-home services, social groups and community outings. Children can work with ABA therapists from the convenience of their own home, we understand the importance of generalizing learned skills across different settings and people, so we conduct session in many different environments.
